The Four Pillars

Club members of BlackLite have an opportunity to apply to have their dream projects produced by BlackLite. Two members per year will be chosen to have their projects produced. All categories for projects are accepted for application.

The BlackLite board will research, discuss, and vote on three charities per year to donate to. Board members will reach out to club members and organize opportunities to volunteer in marginalized communities, shelters, hospitals, and caregiving facilities.

Club members and any club administration can volunteer to mentor Chicago residents ages 16 plus. Chicago residents can apply to be mentored year-round. Mentees will be matched with mentors based on the information given on their application. All applicants under 18 years of age are required to have a parent or legal guardian to sign their application and be in attendance at the interview.

BlackLite board members discuss and vote on workshops to offer club members and Chicago residents to participate in. Workshops are taught by professionals hired by BlackLite. All workshops that showcase BlackLite's mission statement are welcome.
